Interstate park that protects the Breaks of the Big Sandy.  Known as the "Grand Canyon of the South" this 5-mile gorge plunges 1650 feet to the river bed.  Opportunities for hiking, fishing, canoeing and kayaking abound in the mountains of Kentucky and Virginia. Full service lodge, cabins and campsites are available.
