Six guest rooms furnished with Victorian antiques. Two dinning rooms available for catered meals, receptions, meetings and events. The Shaker Tavern, built in 1869 as a business venture for the South Union Shakers, housed a hotel for the "people of the world." The stark simplicity of the buildings used by the Shakers contrasts greatly with the grand columned facade, intricate brickwork, and the ornate staircase of the Shaker Tavern. Located ten miles west of Bowling Green just off US 68/80, in historic Logan County. Accommodations include full breakfast and admission to nearby Shaker Museum at South Union. An optional evening meal is available by reservation.
