Kentucky Agritourism

Check out u-pick farms, vineyards, farmer’s markets and more!

Ready to get out of town and "get down on the farm?" Discovering Kentucky’s fascinating heritage in agriculture is more fun than you might expect – you can see how a horse farm works, buy fresh produce or even pick your own fruit. Farms here in Kentucky invite visitors to take tours and learn more about the agriculture the state is built on.

Enjoy Kentucky vineyards river plantations, horse farms, hay rides, pumpkin patches, u-pick farms, farmer’s markets, orchards and gardens – you name it, Kentucky has it. In fact, Kentucky has more farms per square mile than any state in the U.S.

Pick-your-own fruit farms
are perfect family outings during harvest season. Kentucky vineyards, wine country and antebellum river plantations are ideal for relaxing romantic getaways. And working horse farms offer a glimpse into one of Kentucky’s oldest traditions.

Explore Kentucky’s unique agritourism adventures, get as down and dirty as you like at pick-your-own fruit farms, horse ranches or vineyards, and give your family a vacation they’ll never forget. Be sure to contact farmers before your arrival to ensure that they’re open for visitors.
