Over one hundred species of reptiles take center stage, including mambas, cobras, rattlesnakes, anacondas, lizards, turtles and alligators. Kentucky Reptile Zoo houses the largest collection of venomous snakes in the US and probably the world. This little-known gem of a zoo has been featured on Animal Planet and National Geographic Television. Live reptile shows at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. The 1pm show on weekend days is usually a live venom extraction-see first hand how venom is collected from a cobra or rattlesnake! Knowledgeable staff are available to answer your questions about snakes, snakebite, and both local and exotic reptile trivia.
