Mammoth Cave is more than 400 miles long, a portion of which may be seen on guided tours led by National Park Service rangers.  Cave tours are offered year round, excepting December 25.  Tours range from the .25mi/1.25hour Frozen Niagara tour showing stalactites and stalagmites, to 5.5mi/6hour Wild Cave tour where participants crawl and climb through the cave.
