Claiborne Horse Farm

Tours of the farm in Bourbon County near Paris are by appointment only and advance registration must be made by calling 859-987-2330. Hours of Operation: Walking Tours available 10am & 11am (approx. 45 mins. to 1 hr.) by reservation only. Owned by the Hancock Family, Claiborne Farm has been a leading Thoroughbred farm for generations. The guided tour includes the simple tombstone that marks the grave of the great Secretariat, 1973 Triple Crown winner (and considered by many to be the greatest race horse of all time).
