About

On this 700-acre restoration of Kentucky's native barrens, you can see a habitat restoration project in progess, as we demonstrate how the region once looked during the time of Daniel Boone. A gently winding 3.5 mile paved loop takes you through this dynamic habitat restoration effort. Watch for elk and bison, or listen as the wind rustles through Indian Grass, as the prairie comes back to life. You've seen the impact humans have on the land--now see how we can bring it back. Open from dawn to dusk daily - Fee: $5 per car More information is available on our web site: www.lbl.org
