Jane's Saddlebag is a reconstructed historical structure that preserves a bygone way of life in Kentucky. The "Saddlebag" house was popular as tenant houses on larger farms in Kentucky. Jane's is a place where family memories are made, there are a number of places to explore and a variety of things to experience. On site you can tour a 100 year old mortise and tenon barn, historic smokehouse, shop for unique gifts and visit Tokey the American Paint Horse and main character in the book The Story Of Big Bone Lick, written by Nancy Jordan Blackmore. Tokey is a Kentucky Ambassador of Goodwill. Tour the Spirit of Boone County Flatboat, a life size replica of a 1700 flatboat that was used by early settlers going farther west. Petting zoo, 3 miles south of Big Bone Lick State Park on Rt 1925 south.
