Around 1952, Sam’s Truck Stop was established by Sam Leverton. Over the years, Sam's Truck Stop has evolved into a family restaurant and is better known as Sam's Restaurant. After over 40 years, a new Sam's was built next to the original building. Today Sam's Restaurant is well known to the local population for its good quality, well proportioned Kentucky home cooked meals. Original recipes are used and Sam’s is renowned for their home-made cream pies and salad dressings. For Kentucky home cooking, Sam's Restaurant is the place to go.
