About

The Goddard Covered Bridge located southeast of Flemingsburg is the only surviving example of Ithiel Town Lattice design in Kentucky. Timbers are joined with wooden pegs. Open to traffic, 60 feet long. The bridge was recently restored onsite, preserving as much of the original structure as possible. Site of the Covered Bridge Festival on the 4th Saturday in August.
