The Hart County Historical Museum, located in the restored Chapline Building in Historic Munfordville, Kentucky, relates the rich history of Hart County from pre-columbian Native Americans and the earliest settlements to the mid-20th Century, including great Civil War exhibits. Gifts and books are offered. The Museum is also the starting point for the self-guided Old Munfordville Walking Tour, and for the Battle for the Bridge Historic Preserve. The Museum's genealogical library is open to researchers. Closed major holidays.
