Abbey of Gethsemani

Abbey Visitor's Center: Archive Display, a DVD Theatre for viewing a 25 min DVD about the monastery. Gift Shop featuring the monks' world famous Trappist Cheese, Fudge and Fruit Cake in addition to many other Trappist products from monasteries in other countries. Open 9:00-5:00 Mon - Sat. Closed Sundays. There is also a Retreat House where spiritual seekers from around the world spend a weekend or a week in silence, prayer and solitude. All retreatants and daily visitors are welcome to join the monks in prayer each day beginning at 3:15 AM and ending at 7:30 PM. Additional info at www.monks.org.
