Site of the beginning of the Great Revival of 1800 and of the First Camp Meeting in the World on the third Sunday in June, 1800. Built as a Presbyterian Church, a replica of the log Church has been constructed on the site and it is now on the National Register of Historic Places. Land for the cemetery was donated by the Townsend family.Discussion of Religion of the 1800 Period 3rd weekend in June. Annual Meeting of the Association, 2nd Sunday in September with dinner on the grounds, preaching, singing, and business meeting. Annual Primitive Camp Meeting and Rendezvous, 2nd weekend in October. Open dawn to dusk.
