General George Patton Museum of Leadership

Opened in 1949, the General George Patton Museum of Leadership provides visitors with insights into leadership in the U.S. Army from 1775 to the present, including stories on how leaders arrived at key decisions that ultimately reset the course of history.  Military artifacts of historical significance, the latest technology, and intricately themed exhibits are used to tell these lessons in leadership in a way that appeals to the military history enthusiast and casual visitor alike.  The museum, which is free to the public, is also home to the largest artifact collection of famed U.S. Army General George S. Patton Jr., including his ivory-handled Colt revolver.  Entrance to the museum is off U.S. 31W (Dixie Highway), north of Radcliff, Ky.  Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturdays.  Guided tours can generally be supported with prior coordination.
