About

Authentic 1787 flatboat log cabin located on Old Main Street. Cabin floor constructed from timbers of the flatboard which carried George Mefford and his family to Kentucky via the Ohio River. The Mefford's raised 13 children in this authentic log cabin. Included in the Historic Washington Tour, conducted from the Washington Visitors Center located at 2215 Old Main Street.
