The 15’ X 53’ mural, painted on the back wall of the Court House (faces N. College Street/US Hwy 127 N), was designed by local artist Paul Mulder. The scene portrays the massive Osage Orange tree, one of the most unique trees in the nation, located on the grounds of Old Fort Harrod State Park and a statute of James Harrod, the founder of Harrodsburg.
