Immerse yourself in the Kentucky experience and watch history come to life in this breathtaking, multi-million dollar museum and research facility operated by the Kentucky Historical Society. The signature exhibition, "A Kentucky Journey", explores the Kentucky experience from our first prehistoric inhabitants to Muhammad Ali. The Keeneland Changing Exhibit Gallery offers exhibitions and programs on various subjects relating to Kentucky history and culture. Trace your family history at the Martin F. Schmidt Research Library, visit the 1792 Store for the best Kentucky-crafted items and meet Kentucky''s governors in the newly renovated Toyota Kentucky Hall of Governors. Hours are seasonal and  subject to change. All Old State Capitol and Kentucky Military History Museum tours begin at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History. Hours are seasonal and subject to change. Open spring through fall: Wed. 10am-4pm, Thu. 10am-8pm, Fri.and Sat.10am-5pm.
