The SummerFest closer is The Rocky Horror Show – July 20-24 directed by Wes Nelson with choreography by Jenny Fitzpatrick and music by The Johnson Brothers.  SummerFest promises to be bigger and better than ever!  All shows in the open air at The Arboretum: the State Botanical Garden of Kentucky.

Little Shepherd Ampitheater
Jenkins, Ky

John Fox, Jr.'s "The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come" Outdoor Drama now runs in the summer months, late June to early September, in Jenkins, Kentucky.  The drama will take you back in time to the Civil War Era.

Pine Knob Theatre

Pioneer Playhouse Outdoor Dinner Theatre
Danville, KY

Located in the heart of central Kentucky's Historic Triangle, Danville's Pioneer Playhouse is Kentucky's original outdoor dinner theater. The season features five plays, each with a New York-based cast, and runs from June through August. Since its founding in 1950, Pioneer Playhouse has launched the careers of thousands of talented actors, including John Travolta, Lee Majors and Jim Varney. The 51st Annual Shakespeare in Central Park

The Stephen Foster Story
Bardstown, KY

This spectacular musical, with a cast of more than 50 performers, is based on the life of America's first great composer, Stephen Foster. Many of Foster's most popular songs are featured, including "Oh Susanna" and "My Old Kentucky Home."
