Georgetown College strives for excellence in a well-rounded environment for all students. Tiger athletics puts a premium on the overall experience, celebrating the true student-athlete by emphasizing academics and character in competitive intercollegiate sports. GC offers 17 varsity programs. Our football program has three national titles and men’s basketball has one. Men’s basketball has made the most appearances to-date of any NAIA team in the national tournament, 30, and the most consecutive, 20. Women’s basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, track and field, tennis and golf have also all had national tournament experience. Volleyball has recorded over 1,000 victories and was the 2009 National Runner-Up. Inside the Mid-South Conference, Georgetown’s teams are always at or near the top. Our athletic program regularly produces Mid-South Academic All-Conference award winners and academic All-Americans. Across the nation, the Tigers are consistently recognized in Coaches Polls for football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, tennis and volleyball.
