Welcome to The Cottage Bed & Breakfast Suite, located just outside Danville, Kentucky, only 30 minutes south of Lexington. Built in 1890 this historic hideaway was renovated in keeping with the preservation of its historic character. Visitors to The Cottage have been welcomed for almost twenty years.

Nestled near the historic main house on a 200 acre farm, The Cottage is a private suite of two rooms: a living room with a “kitchen behind doors” and a couch that makes into a double bed, and a bedroom with queen bed and a bath with shower. There is a deck across the back with a great view of the rolling fields and, as a guest once said, “the greatest spot ever to watch the full moon.”

A continental breakfast from a well-stocked refrigerator is provided, along with daily fresh pastries from Burke’s bakery.  There is satellite TV and wireless internet if you must keep up with the outside world. 

Located near Centre College, Herrington Lake, several golf courses, Perryville Battlefield and other historic landmarks, there is always something to do. Long walks on the farm or just sitting on the deck reading might be of interest to you. Come stay with us and enjoy all the fun and comfort that central Kentucky has to offer.
