View the vineyard where the Cape grape is currently under cultivation.  This was the grape used to produce the first wine from a commercial vineyard and winery and was lost to history for 150 years.  The vineyard with the terraces, stone walls and method of vine training is being restored to be historically correct.  The original winery site is being restore along with interpretive signage explaining the process of wine production.
