Cultural Heritage
Traditions, art (in its many forms) and experiences tell the stories of communities. Set the stories in the context of places and historical events, and you have a region's cultural heritage.
Kentucky's heritage is multifaceted - including the chronicles of Native Americans, European pioneers and settlers, African-Americans, a growing Hispanic community and others, as well as the unique culture of Appalachia.
If the past is a window to the future, Kentucky's rich cultural roots will continue to flourish as Kentuckians embrace their multicultural heritage, adding to their story.
