What is a Quilt Barn?
Quilt barns are simply barns that have been decorated with artistic quilt squares – usually 4’x4’ or 8’x8’ wood blocks that have been painted with a quilt square pattern. Many patterns have a particular significance as a part of family or community heritage within the region in which they are displayed.
