About

This landmark, once destined for destruction, was built in the 1860s. Whitehaven is a classical revival of a Victorian home, and now serves as the official Welcome Center for I-24E at Exit 7 in Paducah. Second floor room boasts memorabilia of Alben W. Barkley, Vice President under Harry Truman. Free tours every half hour from 1-4 pm daily. Lobby open 24 hours for the traveling public. Free admission.
