Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour™

Bourbon tourism has become so popular in Kentucky that a second trail has recently been added to complement the traditional Kentucky Bourbon Trail®. The Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour™ features ten artisanal distilleries throughout the state, from the western waterlands to northern Kentucky.

Craft distilleries, also known as micro-distilleries, produce new handcrafted brands that you can sample as you learn more about the fine points of the bourbon distilling process. A passport program allows visitors to collect stamps from all ten distilleries and earn a reward – a classic Kentucky julep cup.

The Kentucky Bourbon Trail Craft Tour™ is a new adventure for bourbon enthusiasts everywhere. Winding through rolling hills and Bluegrass fields, this tour takes you further into the unrivaled craftsmanship of the Kentucky Bourbon industry than ever before.

The ten participating craft distilleries are:

Barrel House Distilling Co., Lexington
Corsair Artisan Distillery, Bowling Green
Hartfield & Co., Paris
Limestone Branch Distillery, Lebanon
MB Roland Distillery, Pembroke
Newriff Distilling, Newport
Peerless Distilling Company, Louisville
The Old Pogue Distillery, Maysville
Wilderness Trail Distillery, Danville
Willett Distillery, Bardstown

These distinctive micro-distilleries are honoring traditions and heritage that have defined Kentucky Bourbon for more than 200 years. From entrepreneurs and adventurers to families reviving their ancestors’ legacy, craft distilleries are a unique part of what makes Kentucky the true home for bourbon. Experience for yourself the passion and commitment to fine bourbon that is shared by all of Kentucky’s distilleries, both large and small.
