Launch your fishing boat and float down .3 miles to the mouth of the Kentucky River where North and South Fork River merge. This is the sight of world class muskie fishing. Travel up South Fork to fish the shoals for bass. Night fishing is also popular for catfish on the rising North Fork River. There are many launch points along pools 13 and 14. It is a memorable experience also paddling in a canoe to the very center of the convergence of North and South Fork Rivers. All trails end in Beattyville so be sure to visit the website when planning your canoe trip in the Heart of the Kentucky River.
