Ashland offers the ideal location to work and relax away from the rush of the big city.  On the banks of the Ohio River surrounded by rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Ashland offers many recreational and cultural opportunities with a small-town ambiance.

Being on the shore of the Ohio, it's no surprise that many outdoor activities in Ashland revolve around the water.  You'll also find Carter Caves State Park, Greenbo Lake State Park, Yatesville Lake State Park and Ohio's Lake Vesuvius Recreational Area.  If you love boating, skiing, swimming, fishing, camping or hiking, you're sure to find it at one of these great locations.

If you'd rather stay on land, Ashland has numerous 18-hole golf courses and one of the best tennis centers in the Bluegrass State.  Enjoy an afternoon or evening at one of the city's fine restaurants or attend a performance at the downtown Paramount Arts Center.  Then end your day with a walk through the park or stroll along the riverfront.

Whether you want to engage in outdoor recreational activities, attend a festival, take in a concert, travel the Country Music Highway, visit a museum or just enjoy the scenic beauty, Ashland is your destination.
