Elizabethtown Nature Park/Hardin County Veterans Tribute

Location:
The Elizabethtown Nature Park has 104-acres of gently rolling former pastureland. Freeman Creek meanders through the park as it flows to the City's largest lake, Freeman Lake. The Nature Park has been set aside as a passive park, where residents can enjoy the natural beauty of our community. A tunnel, connecting the Nature Park and the north end of Freeman Lake Park, was constructed underneath Ring Road. The park also houses a pavilion and walking trail, which ties into the Freeman Lake Park trail system. The park is open from daylight to dark. The park, located off Ring Road, is home to the Hardin County Veterans Tribute, a star formation with granite monoliths and bronze sculptures honoring all five branches of the military and civil service.
