The Bluegrass Parkway winds through the knobs of central Kentucky where Abraham Lincoln was born, and travels onward through Bourbon Country amid rolling hills of the bluegrass that give the roadway its name.

Beginning in Elizabethtown, you’ll explore the humble beginnings of our 16th president, as well as visit historic sites that are older than the state itself. Portions of the Bluegrass Parkway follow the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to stop and sample the local spirits.
