Kentucky Christian University

Nestled in the beautiful foothills of eastern Kentucky, founded in 1919, the Christian Normal Institute offered high school and junior college programs while dedicated to training public school teachers. During the 1920s, the main purpose shifted to educating young people for ministry positions and it became Kentucky Christian College, then a University in 2004. Check out the biannual Bible Bowl, a double-elimination team tournament held in February and June. The winners are awarded scholarships.
