Celebrate the season with the Smith/Garrett families as they open their doors to friends and family for Christmas in their new home. This special tour is set in 1901 and guests will see stockings hung on the mantel, the dining table set for a feast and the magnificent tree in the parlor. The house is furnished with the personal belongings of the Smith-Garrett family.

19th Annual Holiday Homes Tour

This self-guided tour includes 6-7 historic homes and 1 church all decorated in holiday splendor. The tour begins at 1pm and ends at 8pm. Tickets may be purchased at the Historical Society located at 220 & 222 Chiles Street (859/734-5985) or the Harrodsburg Mercer County Tourism Commission, located at Diamond Point Welcome Center, 488 Price Avenue (859-734-2364 or 800-355-9192). Admission: $15. The tea room, located in Morgan Row and decorated for the period, will be serving homemade soups, sandwiches, desserts and assorted beverages from 11am until 6pm.
