Visitors Guide Advertising Opportunities

According to the 2018 State of the American Traveler Research, more than 50% of American travelers use print when planning vacations.

 

Recent research shows that visitor guides remain highly valued, influential to destination decisions and important in shaping a wide range of other travel decisions. Despite the short-term challenges facing advertising and DMO finances, they remain arguably one of the most powerful and cost-effective ways to build a one-on-one relationship with a visitor or local.

 

Each year, approximately 350,000 copies of the Kentucky's Visitors' Guide are distributed at Welcome Centers, travel shows and in response to direct requests. The guide is also made available digital on the Kentucky Tourism website.

 

In addition to print advertisements, FY24 advertisers may also choose from digital placements within the online guide.
