Joseph Fay Britt-White City Unit of Peabody Wildlife Management Area
Excellent birding, fishing, and hunting on 5,600 acres, located just off I-69, exit 37 near Mortons Gap. Primitive camping only; horseback riding allowed on maintained roads. Considered one of the better areas for quail hunting in the state; also good deer, turkey, waterfowl, and small game hunting as well as excellent fishing and birding opportunities. User permits ($15 per person) required to enter the area for any type of use. Permits may be purchased wherever Kentucky hunting and fishing licenses are sold.
