The Montgomery County Historical Society was formed in 1975 and tasked with keeping the histories, genealogies and spirit of Montgomery County, Kentucky. The History Museum is open 10am-2pm Tuesday-Saturdays, except for winter hours. The museum has a variety of historical items on display and is the start of the Historic Downtown Walking Tour.
We meet on the 4th Monday of each month at the Church of the Ascension Annex, on the corner of Bank and High Streets. Potluck starts at 6:00 PM and the program begins at 7:00 PM. Come out and join us!
