The Bluegrass State is home to three U.S. Bicycle Routes designated by the Adventure Cycling Association, including the 76 Transcontinental Route, which connects the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. U.S. Bike Routes 21 and 23 cut north-south across Kentucky, leading cyclists to a number of scenic destinations. Our strong local cycling community is working to designate new routes, and outfitters in cities and Trail Towns around the state provide gear and services for visiting cyclists.
