National Quilt Museum

Near the banks of the Ohio River in Paducah, you’ll find one of the greatest artistic treasures in Kentucky, the National Quilt Museum. With the largest collection of contemporary quilts and fiber arts in the world, this isn’t your grandma’s quilting museum. Established in 1991 and designated “The National Quilt Museum of the United States” by the U.S. Congress in 2008, it is the only museum in the world dedicated to highlighting the work of today’s quilt artists.

Visit the main gallery to explore over 600 exhibits from the museum collection, with an additional two galleries of traveling exhibits. The museum also offers a schedule of events, as well as classes taught by master quilters and learning opportunities for adults and kids of all skill levels.
