Breeder's Cup 2022
Mark the calendar for November 4-5, 2022 when the Breeders’ Cup World Championships is set to return to the Keeneland Race Course in Lexington. In honor of the prestigious international horse racing event and LexArts’s 50th anniversary, the organization is bringing back Horse Mania, with beautifully decorated horse sculptures rolling out in Lexington by spring 2022 and lasting until the championships.
The Breeders Cup Festival will take over Lexington Oct. 31-Nov 5 with some events jumping the gate. The Tandy Park Takeover in downtown Lexington will have live music, food and broadcasts of all the training and activities from Keeneland. The Equine Film Festival will feature films built around the world of horses. The Bourbon Showcase will present over 20 distilleries for bourbon tastings, Kentucky food and musical entertainment.
