Christmas in the Park, Elizabethtown 

 

Follow the signs to the Blue Heron Way entrance of Freeman Lake Park and an illuminated roadway will guide you through this beautiful spectacle of Christmas spirit! The lighting tour is free to drive through, but donations are gladly accepted. 

 

 

 

Lighting of the Trace, Buffalo Trace

 

 

For more than 25 years Buffalo Trace has helped bring holiday cheer to Frankfort with its annual holiday lighting display.

 

The drive-thru event features nearly 100,000 lights, 60 displays, and over 130 items. The lights are free and open to the public nightly from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. until December 25.

 

 

 

Festival of Lights, Grand Rivers

 

This walk-thru holiday light experience includes over one million lights and displays in Patti’s Settlement and downtown Grand Rivers. Enjoy Musical Christmas productions at the Badgett Playhouse, one-of-a-kind gifts at unique shops, memorable family meals at Patti’s Restaurant, and cozy lodging beside Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. Bear Wallow Farm, Nancy

 

Santa is coming to Bear Wallow so come say hello, snap a picture and let him know your Christmas list. Take a stroll through the exciting Trail of Lights featuring thousands of lights to make the night merry and bright. The fun doesn’t stop with Santa or the lights. Experience and explore over 20 more attractions including slides, pedal carts, lighted hayride, fire pits, hot chocolate and more.

 

 

 

Monticello’s Christmas Tree Alley 

 

Visit Monticello's Christmas Tree Alley and take in more than 60 lighted and decorated Christmas Trees. The trees are sponsored by local businesses and groups and are beautiful to behold. It is like walking through a Christmas Forest.

 

 

Deck the Park, Madisonville

"Deck the Park" is a free annual Christmas attraction that transforms Madisonville's City Park into a winter wonderland of lights, rides, and holiday festivities designed to bring joy and holiday spirit to all who attend. 

 

The Christmas Light Drive-Thru features over 123,000 twinkling lights and they can be seen seven nights a week from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. through New Years Day. 

 

Madisonville, Ky Holiday Lights

 

 

 

Murray Bank Festival of Lights, Murray

 

It's the most wonderful time of the year! From now until January 1, drive through  Central Park in Murray, Kentucky for The Murray Bank Festival of Lights. Central Park will be lit up nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. with colorful light displays, all sponsored by community members and organizations! 

 

Visitors are encouraged to bring five canned goods for your admission, which will be donated to our local food pantry, Calloway Need Line.

 

 

 

ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter

 

Grounds crews have spent months getting ready for Christmas Time at the Ark Encounter. Hundreds of thousands of lights have been hung up around the life-size Noah's Ark, turning it into one spectacular Christmas display.

 

The lighting display is open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays through December 30 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

 

 

 

Christmas Island Holiday Light Tour, Burnside Island

Eubank's Christmas in the Park, Eubank

 

The Trail of Lights at Eubank Park is a magical holiday experience that captivates visitors with its dazzling display of festive lights and decorations. Christmas in the Park, Paducah

 

The region's premier holiday light display, Christmas in the Park will return to Paducah’s Bob Noble Park. Guests can enjoy thousands of magical twinkling lights strung throughout the park, by car or foot. The event is free, but donations and canned goods for local food pantries will be accepted.

 

 

 

Santa's Lookout, Scottsville

 

A new feature to the annual Christmas in the Country just outside of Bowling Green, "Santa's Lookout Express Train" ride allows visitors to take in the the lights of the "North Pole" on their way to meet Santa and a whole host of other costumed characters.

Light up the Fair, Burlington

 

Enjoy the mesmerizing Light Up The Fair at Boone County Fairgrounds, featuring a stunning display of nearly 1 million individually controlled LED Christmas lights along a two-mile drive-thru. The lights dance to holiday music, and you can tune in via your car radio for the live show. It's a magical tradition the whole family will love.

 

 

 

Lights Under Louisville

 

For those who prefer to see their holiday decorations during the daytime, look no further than Lights Under Louisville.

 

Louisville Mega Cavern, a former limestone mine, shows off its holiday spirit with 40 themed displays, multiple projection areas, over 900 lit characters, new exciting themes, two laser locations, multiple light tunnels, holiday music and over 6.5 million points of light.

 

Open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Lights Under Louisville will run through January 1, 2024. Tickets can purchased online.

 

 

 

Southern Lights, Lexington

 

Celebrating its 30th year at the Kentucky Horse Park, Southern Lights is one of the merriest holiday traditions for thousands of families throughout the Bluegrass and beyond.  See over a million twinkling lights from the warmth of your car. After you make your way through the lights, be sure to stop by the Holiday Village and see Santa.

 

Southern Lights is open nightly through December 31. Admission is $35 per car. Tickets can be purchased at the park's gates or online
