Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and a Smithsonian Affiliate, this multimillion-dollar museum and education complex operated by the Kentucky Historical Society contains exhibits and educational spaces, an extensive research library and archives storage, collections storage, a museum gift shop, and public events spaces.
Trace Kentucky’s 12,000-year history through more than 3,000 items in the signature exhibition, “A Kentucky Journey.” From bourbon to baseball bats, horse racing to sporty cars, Kentucky’s impact is far-reaching.
