Panbowl Lake

Panbowl Lake was formed in 1963 when the panbowl-shaped North Fork of the Kentucky River was dammed due to the construction of Ky. Highway 15. The lake is narrow, but deep, being about 7 miles long. This beautiful lake is located in Jackson and is known as one of the better game fishing lakes in Kentucky. It is abundant in bass and crappie.
