Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum
The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Owensboro is dedicated to celebrating and preserving the history of bluegrass music. Located just a few miles from the homeplace of “Father of Bluegrass” Bill Monroe, the museum features a variety of interactive exhibits, plus concerts, jam sessions, lessons and events, including the three-day ROMP Fest.
This state-of-the-art cultural center also houses the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Hall of Fame. Currently, 60 inductees are honored for their contributions to the music that was born in the Bluegrass State.
