A Cozy Christmas with the Queen City Cabaret at the Carnegie in Covington

 

The historic Carnegie in Covington will be alive with the Christmas spirit December 12-13 as the Queen City Cabaret puts on its holiday program. The Cincinnati-based arts organization and musical duo that brings captivating performances of vintage jazz and pop to venues across the mid-west and beyond. An Old Kentucky Christmas Carol Tour in Bardstown

 

Even if you’ve visited My Old Kentucky Home before, their Christmas show is one you won’t want to miss. The talented cast will perform Charles Dickens’ novel, “A Christmas Carol,” the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his journey to discover the true meaning of Christmas. The ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future will be on hand to lead you through the mansion’s decked halls and to perform Christmas songs. The musical tour will be offered December 4, 5,11, 12, 18, and 19. Tours wrap up with cookies and cider in the carriage house, where you can meet Santa and take photos with his sleigh. 18th Century Christmas at the Fort 

Tour an 18th Century decorated Fort by candlelight and bonfires on December 4-5 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Learn about the Christmas Guns, pioneer foods, make a craft, visit the fort display cabins and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. There will be period music, refreshments, snacks and games in our 18th Century Tavern. Visit the Transylvania Gift Shop for your shopping needs. All public parking is in the lot on KY388 across from the entrance to the main picnic area with free shuttles to the fort.

Christmas on the River 

Join us at the historic Masterson House on December 11th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM for a festive evening celebrating the holiday season. Guests are invited to tour the beautifully decorated home, adorned with seasonal greenery, twinkling lights, and traditional holiday displays that capture the warmth and charm of the season. And admission is free!
