The Baker Bird Winery is one of 22 wineries on the National Historic Registry in the U.S. The Winery is the oldest commercial estate winery in America with its original land. It was built by German immigrants that came from Baden (one of the great wine producing regions of Germany). The German immigrants settled the Ohio River Valley around Augusta and produced fine wines of the America’s Rhineland in the mid 1800's. Todays winery is home to numerous award winning wines and exquisite tours and tasting experiences.
