Russell Springs

Russell Springs is located in Russell County, Kentucky. The City was incorporated in 1936. Russell Springs is in the Central Time Zone, and is the largest city in the county, having a population of 2,511.

The city is known as the Gateway to Lake Cumberland, one of the largest man-made lakes east of the Mississippi River, created by the impounding of the Cumberland River by Wolf Creek Dam.
