With more than 1,900 navigable miles of water, Kentucky is a playground for paddlers – from stillwater kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding to some of the best whitewater rafting in the Eastern U.S. Scenic lakes, meandering streams and rushing rapids can all be found in the Bluegrass State. Nine waterways are designated as Kentucky Wild Rivers, comprising 114 miles of water. You'll also find a wide network of over 35 Blue Water Trails for paddling and floating.
